Matador'was written as a protest song. It represents a reaction to the Grenfell Tower fire incident, a deeply disturbing event which resulted in the loss of 72 lives in our home city. A critique of the ideology of austerity and an irresponsible laissez-faire political class. We believe a government that cannot protect its own citizens is not fit for purpose.

A journey of tension and release mounts to an explosive climax: Adrenaline fuelled horn lines and heavy dub step reverberations all come together to tell their story. ‘Justice for Grenfell!’
